Context
This figure continues the roadmap from the Introduction section, covering later development phases from mid-2018 through the long-term horizon, showing TRON's evolution from content-sharing to a comprehensive decentralized ecosystem.
What This Figure Shows
The figure presents four additional phases. Great Voyage introduces decentralized finance capabilities: ICOs on TRON, personal token issuance, and dividend distribution transforming the platform into a capital formation layer. Apollo adds a protocol-native decentralized exchange for token trading. Star Trek targets decentralized gaming with trustless settlement for game economies and digital assets. Eternity envisions an autonomous digital republic with community-funded content production, self-governance, and direct advertising revenue flows through on-chain mechanisms.
Significance
The later phases reveal a deliberate progression from infrastructure through incentives to governance. The inclusion of a built-in DEX in Apollo and autonomous governance in Eternity reflects TRON's ambition to subsume multiple verticals — DeFi, gaming, governance — under one ecosystem, contextualizing its aggressive feature set and EVM compatibility.
